The recent “Guilty” verdict in the New York Trump trial was a surprise to no one. Given a Democrat judge whose daughter pockets millions raising money for anti-Trump candidates, a gag order preventing Trump from speaking, a jury that was likely all Democrats, prosecution witnesses who were documented liars and expert defense witnesses denied the chance to testify, this will usually guarantee such a result. It happens all the time in communist courts and banana republics. And now here. Years of prison for a maybe bookkeeping error. This will rival the infamous Dred Scott trial in the history books and be reversed quickly in Appeals court.
In this case Justice truly was blind…. and deaf and dumb. But there are Guilty verdicts more deserving.
