OSBCC School Board & Community Support Members,

Good morning.  We wanted to share the recent debate of OHSAA bylaws allowing for biological boys to compete against biological girls at the North Royalton School Board.  OHSAA has a monopoly in Ohio for youth athletics.  It is the only game in town.  We pushed back to protect our daughters and granddaughters from losing scholarships, playing time, records, and getting injured by the irresponsible bylaws of OHSAA.

Maybe the Legislature will do something in this arena, but it has been a very slow and very politicized issue rather than doing what is righteous quickly.

Attached is a draft letter we discussed and exposed our board members up for reelection in 2023.  The letter also proposes a Co-Ed league so it can be compassionate and inclusive, while Protecting Our Daughters and Granddaughters!

Please use this audio to improve and build your own local arguments to push back on OHSAA.  We are now gathering articles on lawsuits, injuries to girls, and statistics because of this irresponsible policy.  We will be sharing soon.

OSBCC School Board & Community Support Members,
Good evening everyone.  What a great first Networking Luncheon we had this past Sunday in Strongsville at JBella.  It was so great to see everyone.  Look for these to be coming to central and southern Ohio with more exciting content over 2023.

Last year around this time school boards started renewing and signing their OHSAA agreements.  As most of you know, the OHSAA bylaws allow for biological boys to compete against biological girls.  OHSAA has a monopoly in Ohio for athletics so we are in a difficult position as school boards to support our students with competitive sports and push back to protect our daughters and granddaughters from losing scholarships, playing time, records, and getting injured by the bylaws of OHSAA.  We also know that no legislation is being passed to protect our girls despite a lot of requests and pressure.

Attached is a draft letter template you can propose to your school board to create discussion on this topic and to push back on OHSAA.  You can expose board members that don’t want to support protecting our girls.  The draft also proposes Co-Ed league so it can be compassionate and inclusive, while Protecting Our Daughters and Granddaughters!  Feel free to edit or change this letter in ways that meet the needs for your districts.  Don’t be afraid to push back and stand up!

    Together we are stronger!

    Godspeed,
