Thank God for the police
There are almost always a few bad apples in any profession, but thank God for the majority of good cops. The recent shooting in Columbus is an example. If you watched the police footage, you saw the police arriving on the scene only moments before Ma’Khia completed what could have been a killing stab of another girl. Her right hand, with a large knife, was moving forward with what appeared to be an attempt to kill a girl pinned against a car. We wish Ma’Khia had not made the choice of forcing the police to use deadly force.
You also saw a male that appeared to be kicking a downed female. The officer had only a few seconds to assess the entire situation and make a decision to save one life from immediate death before rescuing the downed female.
Then you get LeBron James piping in, almost as if he wished Ma’Khia killed the other girl. I want the police to protect citizens from aggressors, especially those with weapons of any kind. It’s awful that a rich elitist wants bodyguards for himself, but could care less for your safety. So I say, thanks to the police.
